This campaign has ended. It raised $16,270, reaching its minimum goal.
Only 4.5% of film directors are Latine, but with your support we'll be able to increase that percentage one story at a time – starting with Quinceañera, a coming-of-age short film that tells the story of a blossoming Queer teen romance.

Risks and Challenges

Time is money. Consolidating so many shots in one day in a quick turnaround encompasses its own risk. If we can’t film everything in time within a 12-hour time limit, that can weigh on the cast and crew’s mental and physical health.

Additionally, we work with expensive, heavy, and dangerous camera and lighting gear with replacement values that go upwards of thousands of dollars. If there’s any damage, theft or injury we have insurance.

Thank You
